Job description:
Hunterskill Recruitment are looking for a Support Analyst to start 11.07.2016. This is based in Preston. (PR5 area)

The job will last 3 months.

Key purpose:

To provide a professional, efficient and effective support service for customers in the resolution of support requests.
To support the delivery of solutions and system improvements to meet customer requirements.

Day to day support of the Group's IT Systems for the 3500 customers across all Group subsidiaries.

Responsibilities/Activities:

Follows best practice of the ITIL V3 Service Management process framework, focusing on Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management

Responsibility for the logging and ownership of incidents, requests and changes created by customers through final resolution

Takes day-to-day responsibility for the support and maintenance of the group's IT environment and systems for the provision of an effective support service to customers

Ensure issues are correctly categorised and prioritised and assigned to the appropriate SLA

Maintain and update an IM&T knowledge base including frequently asked questions resources to aid in self-service issue resolution

Problem Solving/Decision Making:

A wide range of problem solving and decision making techniques are used, these are mainly technical application decisions relating to problems which need to be made in conjunction with a line manager, team manager or business managers depending on the nature of the problem or decision.
Salary: 11.67 per hour
